ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Albury Show Society Young Woman Competition recognises young women who can act as positive and capable ambassadors for their local community and promote the agricultural show movement across rural and regional New South Wales. Entrants are assessed on their personality, confidence, communication skills, community involvement, presentation, and knowledge of rural and regional issues.
WHY ENTER?Â
Build confidence and develop public speaking skills
•   Build networks within the agricultural and regional community
•   Represent the Albury Show Society as a community ambassador
•   Opportunity to progress to Zone and State judging for the successful applicant
ELIGIBILITY
•   Have a genuine interest in rural and regional NSW
•   Be willing to act as a community ambassador for the Albury Show and agricultural industry
•   Female aged 18–25 years as at 1 May 2027
•   Australian citizen or permanent resident. Must live, work or study in NSW for at least 3 months prior
•   Previous entrants eligible (except prior State Final placegetters)
•   Entrants must be available for judging, the Show, and if successful, Zone and State Final commitments.

REGULATIONS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
•   Entrants must meet eligibility requirements at the time of entry.
•   Only candidates nominated by an Agricultural Show Society may progress to Zone or State Judging.
•   Certain RAS staff, councillors and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
•   Entrants must comply with all directions given by judges, stewards and officials.
•   Entrants consent to the use of photographs and quotes for promotional purposes.
•   Available to commit to Albury Show commitments for 12 months including 2027 Albury Show
•   Willing to comply with the Code of Conduct
•   Failure to comply with regulations may result in disqualification.
•   Judging decisions are final.
