Our volunteers are the backbone of this tradition, ensuring that rural skills, agricultural excellence, and community spirit continue to thrive. The Albury Show is built on community spirit — and our volunteers are at its heart. Each year, dedicated locals bring the Show to life by welcoming visitors, supporting exhibitors, and helping create a safe, friendly, and memorable experience for everyone.
Whether you’re guiding guests, assisting in pavilions, helping with livestock or arts displays, or lending a hand behind the scenes, volunteering is a rewarding way to celebrate our region’s agricultural heritage and connect with others who share your passion for community.

Become a Member
Becoming a member of the Albury Show Society means joining a community that supports local agriculture, horticulture, craft, culture, and the long‑standing tradition of the Albury Show. Members play an important role in sustaining the Society’s work and ensuring the Show continues to grow for future generations.
What Membership Includes
Members enjoy a range of benefits each year, including:

Entry privileges to the Annual Show

Voting rights at meetings of the Society, giving members a direct voice in the future of the organisation

Eligibility to nominate for Committee roles and participate in the governance of the Society.
Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is $40 pls GST, as set by members at the Annual General Meeting. Memberships run until 31 July each year, and renewal is required annually.
